Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer with over 5 years of experience, who is proficient in Power BI and PowerApps. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional dashboard design capabilities, and expert-level knowledge of DAX and SQL. Experience with ETL tools such as Power Query Editor is essential. The role also demands excellent communication skills to articulate complex solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on usability and visual appeal. - Develop and maintain complex DAX formulas and SQL queries to enable deep data analysis and reporting. - Work with PowerApps to create integrated business applications alongside Power BI solutions. - Utilize ETL tools such as Power Query Editor to transform, clean, and prepare data for analytics. - Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. - Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards. - Communicate technical concepts and BI solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Stay updated with the latest Power BI and PowerApps features and industry best practices to continuously improve BI capabilities.

Mandatory skill sets:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Power BI development. - Strong proficiency in DAX and SQL query writing for data modeling and report generation. - Hands-on experience with PowerApps for developing custom business applications. - Experience with ETL tools, particularly Power Query Editor. - Exceptional skills in dashboard design with a keen eye for aesthetics and user experience. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to stakeholders. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. - Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.

Preferred skill sets:

Experience with other BI tools or platforms. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services related to data and analytics.
