Job Summary:

This role requires a highly skilled Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager who can demonstrate experience of managing and directing a wide portfolio of internal and external projects and is of sufficient professional standing to coach and develop Project Managers. This is a demanding and senior role within the organisation, which requires a willing and flexible attitude, a professional manner, excellent communication skills and a high degree of common sense and pragmatism.

Responsibilities

· Governance & Standardization: Develop, enforce, and maintain project management policies, templates, and methodologies to ensure consistency.

· Portfolio Oversight: Align projects with strategic business goals, manage project selection, and track dependencies across programs

.

· Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and create dashboards/reports for stakeholders.

· Resource & Financial Management: Optimize resource allocation across projects and track budgets.

· Process Improvement: Collect lessons learned to improve best practices and train staff.

Key Requirements & Skills

· Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; 5+ years of experience in project management (often required for Manager roles). · Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is often advantageous.

· Tools: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

· Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Experience: 7 to 10 Years
