Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Developer with strong technical expertise in X++ and Dynamics 365 development frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in D365FO implementations, customizations, and integrations, and will play a key role in extending, enhancing, and supporting our D365 environment.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and customize solutions using X++ within D365 Finance & Operations.

· Work with Application Explorer elements including Classes, Forms, Queries, Views, Tables, Data Entities, etc.

· Implement and extend solutions using Event Handlers, Chain of Command (CoC), and Extensions model.

· Develop and customize SSRS reports, dashboards, and workspaces to meet business requirements.

· Design and implement Workflows (standard and custom) within D365FO.

· Develop and manage integrations using OData, AIF, and Custom Services.

· Utilize the Data Management Framework (DMF) for data import/export operations.

· Provide support across D365FO modules such as:

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o General Ledger (GL)

o Project Management and Accounting (PMA)

o Product Information Management (PIM)

· Develop and monitor Batch Jobs using SysOperation and RunBase frameworks.

· Perform Lifecycle Services (LCS) activities, including environment upgrades, package deployment, and database restore.

· Participate in API integration efforts using OData and custom web services.

· Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and other developers for end-to-end project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong experience in X++ development and customization.

· Worked on X++ and elements in Application explorer like Classes, Forms, Query, View, Query, Table, Data entity etc.

· Involved in end-to-end Implementation and support of D365 Finance and operations using Extensions, event handlers and COC.

· Solid understanding of D365FO architecture and development best practices.

· Proficient in Data Entities, SSRS, Workflows, and Batch Jobs.

· Hands-on experience with LCS, package deployment, and environment maintenance.

· Experience in at least one full-cycle D365FO implementation or support project.

· Good knowledge of data integration and API development using OData and custom services. AIF integration (using ODATA, custom services).

· Worked on data management framework for importing data in D365 & exporting data from D365.

· Understanding of finance-related modules and business processes in D365FO.

· Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performance-optimized code.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of batch jobs using Sys operation and run base framework.

Preferred Qualifications

· Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer Certification (e.g., MB-500).

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

· Familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Mandatory skill sets -
