We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and automation expertise, with a focus on Java programming, API testing, and hands-on experience with key automation tools like Selenium, GIT, and Jenkins. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Java.

• Perform API testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of our services.

• Write and execute Selenium-based automated tests for web applications.

• Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

• Maintain and update test cases in JIRA and track issues as part of the testing lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automation testing with strong proficiency in Java.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated UI testing.

• Proficiency with API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

• Understanding of version control using GIT and Jenkins.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

• Knowledge of JIRA for test management and issue tracking.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of functional testing.

Note: Please do not consider candidates whose work experience is primarily in BDD frameworks.
