Waldorf Astoria is looking for an In-Room Dining Server to join the Food and Beverage Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

\n\n\n\tClassification: Full-Time\n\tShift: Various - must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.\n\n\n

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

\n\n\n\tPrior experience in a luxury in-room dining establishment is preferred\n\tWork in a safe, prudent and organized manner \n\tIn-depth knowledge of food and preparation \n\tGood knowledge of wine \n\tAbility to relate to all levels of guests and management\n\tAbility to handle multiple tasks at one time\n\tExcellent communication and organization skills \n\tAbility to consistently delight and satisfy our guest \n\tAbility to handle guest requests in a detailed manner \n\tRead, write and oral proficiency in the English language\n\tProfessional appearance and demeanor at all times\n\n\n

\nWhat will I be doing?

\n\n

As an In-Room Dining Server, you will work to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through the accurate and timely delivery of all orders and amenities received per the Order Taker.  You should be able to anticipate guests' needs and address them accordingly in order to provide guests with a delightful experience. Additionally, the servers will maintain a clean work environment and help keep the In Room Dining area organized as instructed by the management team. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

\n\n\n\tProvide excellent service at all times to all of our guests \n\tAssist guests courteously and efficiently \n\tSet up tables up to our standard \n\tBasic knowledge of food and beverage in order to service the product, including liquors and cocktails\n\tSet up side station \n\tMake sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless \n\tMark tables appropriately to food order for each course \n\tSet up tables according to Speed sheet or coordinators instructions \n\tAnticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything \n\tDelivery of gest orders using a cart and  / or a tray\n\tFrequently walks the floors to retrieve trays and tables from corridors and rooms\n\tEmpty dirty dishes to dishwasher area, change soiled linen\n\tReset tables\n\tAttend all food and beverage training classes \n\tFollowing the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet \n\tAttend daily pre meal/communication meeting \n\tAttend monthly department meeting \n\tGenerate a good atmosphere\n
