Job DescriptionStudy Customer Requirements & develop machine concept and systems requirements as per scope of delivery for special-purpose machines, process machines, assembly and testing machinesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software – Autodesk Inventor. Develop detailed drawings and specifications for components and assembliesAnalyze and optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance.Perform stress analysis and other engineering calculations to ensure design integrity.Create and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and test plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and troubleshoot and resolve design issues.Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and maintain design standards and best practicesImplement design improvements based on project learning and industry trends. Stay abreast with technological advancements and best practicesSupport and ensure compliance with ISO audits, RB guidelines, central directives, Statutory & Regulatory authorities, machine safety CE norms, UL Standards for export machines.

 

Skills Required :

Proficient in 3D model software preferebaly Autodesk InventorFEA analysis using Inventor / AnsysStatistical tolerance calculations / GD&T

Additional knowledge / experience :

Automation technologies applicable for automotive industryUnderstanding of manufacturing processMaterials and Heat treatment / Surface treatmentIndustry standards, codes and regulations

Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in design of special-purpose machines / process machines / assembly and testing machines is a must
