Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Snowflake Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data solutions. This role demands deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Modelling, and DBT, along with a strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

You will work on: · Architect end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. · Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, DBT development, and SQL optimization. · Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data architectures. · Lead the design of data pipelines and workflows using Airflow and Python. · Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across the pipeline. · Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts. · Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake workloads. · Oversee legacy system integration and migration (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Teradata) into modern data platforms. · Evaluate and integrate cloud-native services from Azure or GCP to enhance data capabilities. Primary Skills: · Snowflake (Architecture, Performance Tuning, Security, Cost Optimization) · SQL (Advanced Querying, Optimization, Standards Enforcement) · Data Modelling (Dimensional, Normalized, Hybrid Models) · DBT (Design Patterns, Modularization, Testing) Secondary Skills: · Airflow (Workflow Design and Orchestration) · Python (Advanced Scripting, Data Processing) · CI/CD (Automation, GitOps, DevOps for Data) · Oracle, DB2, Teradata (Legacy System Understanding) · Cloud Platforms: Azure or GCP (Data Services, Storage, Compute)

Mandatory skill sets:

Snowflake SnowPro Core certification Snowflake SnowPro Advanced – Data Architect certification

Preferred skill sets:

Exposure to DBT for data transformations Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
