Responsibilities: 

· Client Advisory & Thought Leadership: 

· Serve as the foremost expert on RBI, Basel, and Indian regulatory reporting norms for the firm and its clients. 

· Advise CXOs, Chief Risk Officers, and CFOs on regulatory strategy, interpretation of new guidelines, and implementation roadmaps. 

· Lead large-scale regulatory transformation programs, including adoption of new norms (e.g., Basel III reforms, climate risk reporting, ECL models). 

· Business Development & Practice Growth: 

· Drive business development by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and presenting solutions to prospective clients. 

· Develop and market innovative service offerings and solution frameworks (e.g., Regulatory Reporting-as-a-Service, Compliance Health Check, Automation Blueprints). 

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the banking industry and regulatory circles. 

· Solution Design & Delivery Leadership: 

· Architect end-to-end regulatory reporting solutions, emphasizing process optimization, control enhancement, and technology enablement (RPA, AI/ML, RegTech). 

· Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes, timeline adherence, and value realization for clients. 

· Provide guidance to consulting teams on complex regulatory issues and review deliverables for accuracy and impact. 

· Author whitepapers, point-of-view documents, and industry analyses on emerging regulatory trends. 

· Conduct executive briefings, webinars, and roundtables to position the firm as a market leader. 

· Mentor and upskill junior consultants and analysts within the practice. 

Required Experience & Profile 

· 10-12+ years of combined experience in: 

1. Consulting Firm: At least 4-5 years in a reputed consulting firm (Big 4, global consultancy, or niche financial services advisory) in a regulatory/compliance role. 

2. Banking/Financial Services: Deep hands-on experience in a regulatory reporting, finance, or risk role within an Indian bank (preferably a leading public/private sector bank). 

· Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships in a consulting environment. 

· Demonstrated experience in selling and delivering regulatory consulting projects.
