Job Description & Summary: As a key member of Consulting, you will work on collaborative teams to help deliver a range of projects for clients, including sustainability reporting and integrated annual reporting, ESG portfolio and supply chain risk assessment, and ESG strategy development. You will also have opportunities to contribute to projects focused on human rights, climate change and geopolitical issues.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for: ESG Analysis and Strategy Design: Analyzing ESG-related activities and developing strategic initiatives for responsible business practices and sustainable development. Strategy Implementation: Defining and implementing ESG strategies that integrate with revised business models to meet current needs and drive future growth. Program Development and Reporting: Creating sustainability/ESG programs and associated reporting. This includes conducting materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and identifying metrics/KPIs in line with sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI, BRSR, IIRC, SASB and others. The candidate will also prepare both internal and external reporting materials. Research and Studies: Conducting sector and market research with a focus on ESG topics for clients. Project Management: Managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring quality, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery. Market Research and Business Development: Engaging in market research and supporting business development activities to expand the company's reach and influence. 2. Key Competencies: Sustainability Expertise: Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks, including BRSR, GRI Standards, GHG, SASB, TCFD, UNSDGs, IIRC, ICMA, CDP, and DJSI. Hands-on experience of GHG accounting, ESG rating support (CDP, DJSI), ESG risk assessments, drafting sustainability reports. Regulatory Acumen: Good understanding of current and emerging sustainability-related regulatory requirements Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Analytical Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications. Working knowledge on different sustainability platforms like Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Salesforce Net zero cloud etc. Would be added advantage. RfP/RfQ/RfI Experience: Strong experience with Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, and Requests for Information.

Learning and Adaptability: Exhibits curiosity and a readiness to learn new concepts and skills. Client Focus: Dedicated to a client-oriented approach. Innovation and Proposal Support: Assist in creating new service offerings and support the submission of proposals to prospective clients. Must be willing to be based in Mumbai.

Mandatory skill sets:

 Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks, including BRSR, GRI Standards, GHG, SASB, TCFD, UNSDGs, IIRC, ICMA, CDP, and DJSI.

Years of experience required:

Experience: 10 Years experience working on sustainability and ESG projects, with BFSI sector experience as a plus.

Education qualification:

B.tech + MBA Certifications: Certificate in ESG Investing, UNPRI, GRI etc. is a plus
