Job Description & Summary:

Responsible for ongoing administration and support of endpoint monitoring tools in a complex production environment. Works closely with clients, support and implementation teams and peers to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. 

An ideal candidate will be required to troubleshoot and monitor issues that require adept knowledge of endpoint monitoring tools such as Nexthink, endpoint operating systems, and automation technologies such as Ansible.  

Responsibilities:

·3 years experience with Endpoint Monitoring tools such as Nexthink.  3 years experience as a subject matter expert in endpoint management (administering or implementing Windows & Mac endpoints and troubleshooting network related issues) 2 years experience using automation tools like Ansible. Working experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments Strong knowledge of documenting technical standards and procedures. Working experience in a DevOps environment. Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities. Genuine interest in improving endpoint performance and developing new skills in this area. Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving environment. Able to work independently or as a part of the team. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success on a team doing the following: 

Functional analysis, developing functional specifications, requirements definition, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configurations, setting of transaction/control mechanisms, module configuration, prototyping and testing for complex software applications. Administers, documents, monitors and/or modifies application instances and security/authorization set-up in monitoring tools. Provides user support from a monitoring perspective for multiple moderately complex software applications. Performs analysis and judgment outside established protocols. Writes standard operating procedures for monitoring related tasks, like installing software modules, alerts and responses, reporting and solving incidents, etc. Works effectively with co-workers. Works effectively with multiple client contacts; initiates interaction to clarify and improve relationships with clients. Takes responsibility for the relationship with a client for a specific application with limited scope (department, center, single large application). Translates broad project scope and goals into detailed work plan with tasks, accountabilities, dependencies, milestones and deadlines; monitors project plans to ensure progress. Balances multiple priorities and responds to day-to-day problems while maintaining progress on regularly scheduled project work. Takes personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of results for projects and tasks. Consistently proposes original solutions, proposals, recommendations within the context of a discrete project or objective. Effectively assesses feasibility of solutions in terms of client need and available resources. Provides timely status updates to supervisor and client management highlighting potential issues/problems.
