Purpose of the Job
Lead the development and execution of merchandising and shopper visibility strategies for Convenience Stores (C-Stores) and General Trade channel, ensuring strong brand presence and impactful consumer experiences. This role drives strategic alignment with corporate objectives, oversees flawless execution, and fosters collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
You will bring:
Strategic Leadership
Define and own the merchandising and visibility strategy for C-Stores and General Trade.
Align initiatives with global and regional marketing priorities while anticipating market trends and regulatory changes.
Execution Excellence
Be responsible for deployment of merchandising materials and communication campaigns across C-Stores and General Trade.
Establish indicators and implement performance tracking systems to measure return on investment and effectiveness.
Budget & Resource Management
Administer a significant budget for visibility and merchandising initiatives, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with internal controls.
Optimize resource allocation for maximum impact.
Team Development
Lead and mentor a team of coordinators and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Build capabilities to adapt to evolving trade dynamics.
Team member Engagement
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Commercial Planning, and Merchandising teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Manage agency and supplier relationships, including contract negotiations and performance reviews.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all initiatives align with internal policies and marketing codes.
Implement robust processes for operational rigor and risk management.
Who we are looking for:

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA or postgraduate studies strongly preferred.
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years in trade marketing, shopper marketing, retail visibility, or related roles.
Experience in FMCG companies is required.
Exposure to C-Stores and General Trade channels is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
Proven track record in managing budgets and leading cross-functional teams.
Functional Skills
Advanced project management and planning.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.
Deep understanding of retail channels and shopper insights.
