The candidate requires skills to identify patterns and any interruptions in them, along with the ability to examine details and anticipate the implications of the data. The candidate must be analytical, know how to go through the root causes and propose solutions to the problems identified. This team is expected to have daily contact with brokers, US Vendors, and various internal teams; therefore, the candidate must have know-how on International Trade, the appropriate communication skills to transmit results and escalate when necessary, every time looking to raise the bar. We're looking for someone who thinks big and out of the box. Key job responsibilities - Work in an ambiguous environment where the final solutions are not always clear. - Take responsibility for contacts with vendors/employees, ensuring that each contact is accepted and resolved with a high degree of customer focus. - Manage related KPIs to measure, control and compare Transportation Programs, including the creation of recurring metric reports. - Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Brokers, Carriers, and international Vendors) and internal customers (Compliance and transportation teams). - Execute the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Imports program and review the results with local stakeholders. - Collaborate in the development of standard working documents. - Manage the performance of vendors. Basic Qualifications - High School Diploma. - 2+ years' work experience in international trade logistics. - Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, vlookup, programming with macros and/or visual basic). - Data management, Transportation & Logistics. - Internal and External stakeholder management, Data analysis, negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement. - Expertise in SQL logical programming language. - A self-starter who loves data and who enjoys spotting the trends in it! - Degree in International Trade, Engineering, Operations, Logistics or related field. - B1 English level.
