**Position Summary:**
Join our team as an Import Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the customs and compliance process for all our imports. In this dynamic position, you will implement effective controls to ensure compliance and address any gaps, showcasing your expertise in maintaining our commitment to regulatory standards and operational excellence. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who will assess the financial implications of tariff changes and collaborate with teams such as Government Affairs and inbound logistics. You will have the opportunity to develop tariff cost forecasts, ensure timely submission of ISF documentation, and track regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will also include auditing customs entries, generating invoicing reports, managing air freight exceptions, and fostering strong relationships with customs brokers. Additionally, you will validate HTS classifications, support import compliance training, and handle internal reporting on international operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assess financial implications of tariff changes on business operations• Coordinate with Nestlé Government Affairs to monitor regulatory developments and business continuity planning• Collaborate with inbound logistics to evaluate tariff exposure on in-transit shipments• Develop tariff cost forecasts in partnership with Finance• Identify and evaluate alternative manufacturing sources to mitigate tariff impact on key SKUs
+ Coordinate with HQ teams to ensure timely submission of ISF documentation and SKU data• Support classification processes for new SKUs introduced by HQ• Track and report ISF filing performance to ensure regulatory compliance• Oversee daily audit reporting of customs entries for accuracy and completeness• Generate and submit weekly invoicing reports to Finance• Prepare and distribute monthly freight cost summaries to Finance• Manage air freight exception reporting, including delay tracking and pallet count accuracy• Lead the annual customs reconciliation filing process• Administer purchase orders for freight services and manage P-Card transactions for customs brokerage• Ensure accurate EEI reporting for cross-border shipments from Mexico
+ Manage operational relationships with customs brokers and freight forwarders; contribute to performance and business reviews• Support internal post-entry and valuation audits to ensure compliance and accuracy• Implement corrective actions to address gaps identified during post-entry and valuation reviews• Collaborate with Trade Compliance to validate HTS classifications and ensure regulatory accuracy• Maintain and update the U.S. Customs Compliance Manual• Secure signed foreign vendor compliance letters in alignment with U.S. Customs and Nespresso USA policies• Support import compliance training initiatives for Purchasing and Supply Chain teams• Contribute to freight forwarding and customs brokerage tender projects• Participate in broader supply chain initiatives and cross-functional projects
+ Responsible for internal reporting on Int'l (weekly inbound import log and ASN reports).• Report KPIs for Int'l Supply Chain Operations review and market operational reviews (Monthly).• Prepare report and analysis for performance/business reviews with third parties (Monthly/Quarterly).• Tariff financial impact • Prepare reports' set from ACE Portal Customs Border Protection.
**Experience & Education Requirements:**
+ Bachelors Degree required; preferably in Supply Chain OR equivalent work experience
+ 3-5 years professional experience in Supply Chain, import and export expericine and dealing with 3rd Party Warehousing strongly preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
+ Excellent analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills - highly detailed oriented
+ Excellent administration and reporting skills
+ Expereince creating SOP & gathering business requirements
+ Effective influencing skills.
+ Customs/HTS Classification experience
+ Knowledge of Distribution/Logistics and quality standard in logistics
+ Strong work ethic, integrity and honesty
+ Energized by tough challenges
+ Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
