Title: Import/Export Specialist

Location: Carteret, NJ

Pay: $27 - $37 an hour

A highly reputable manufacturing company is looking for an Import/Export Specialist to join their team! This role includes a large range of duties including but not limited to managing import and export activities for assigned customer accounts, coordinate global shipments across multiple regions and transportation mode, utilizing NetSuite ERP, and much more!

Job Description:

 Manage import and export activities for assigned customer accounts, ensuring accurate order entry, shipment coordination, and on‑time fulfillment.Prepare and complete all required import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and regulatory forms specific to food products.Coordinate global shipments across multiple regions and transportation modes—including ocean, air, and freight—to meet customer and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, food‑related import/export standards, and country‑specific documentation rules for every shipment.Monitor shipment progress, resolve documentation or customs issues, and communicate status updates to internal teams and assigned customers to support smooth delivery.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred5+ years of import/export experience requiredexperience in manufacturing industry requiredExperience using a large ERP (NetSuite preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
