Support daily import and export operations for Chile , from cargo availability until the delivery at destination.
Ensure that all Stryker importing and exporting sites comply with established procedures and relevant trade regulations, and that gaps are escalated, addressed and resolved.
Manage freight forwarders and Customs brokers activities and performance and ensure that trade controls are properly maintained.
Create and maintain metrics for Trade, including but not limited to On-Time Delivery, Carrier and Broker’s Performance, Cost to clear, Average Duty rate, Speed to clear, Landed costs and PPV. Ensure service providers and trade team achieves defined targets.
Accountable for the filing and maintenance of all applicable trade related registrations, permits, and government reporting, in accordance with Stryker specifications and local applicable regulations. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of business records.
Provide guidance on trade issues.
Advise business leaders of potential business ramifications of changing regulations and political/regulatory environment related to international trade.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and service.
What you will need:Technical/University degree: Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Foreign Trade
Intermediate/advanced level of English
Advanced level of Excel
At least four years of experience in the foreign trade area
Travel Percentage: 10%
