**Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing medical devices. This is a contract-to-hire position, and while it may take longer than anticipated to become permanent, it offers a great opportunity for growth and skill development. Candidates must be flexible with their availability, as work may be required on Saturdays and may start earlier than scheduled shift times. **Responsibilities** + Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. + Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor. + Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Microscope experience + Small part assembly experience + Strong communication skills + Ability to work with microscope 90% of the shift + Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience + High School Diploma or Equivalent **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with medical device assembly + Cleanroom experience + Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and test equipment + Ability to work with small parts, particularly catheters **Why Work Here?** Our company offers great benefits upon permanent employment, including a supportive and growing work environment. You will be stationed in close proximity to other team members and will be using various tools and equipment, including microscopes and measuring tools. Flexibility in shift timings is required, including potential Saturday work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
