Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in similar positions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of Mexican Customs Law
Knowledge of the TIGIE (General Import and Export Tax Law).
Knowledge of the Customs Program (Vastera)
ERP system management, preferably QAD.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and trade compliance regulations such as ITAR, EAR, etc.
Experience in international logistics, customs, or supply chain management.
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for special activities or projects assigned by the Comptroller.
Responsible for the full completion of the Area Manager's assignments.
Ensure that all import and export activities comply with local, federal, and international customs regulations, including classification and licensing.
Responsible for requesting time extensions for the "SICEX" system for the import of new products.
Monitor shipments from origin to destination, collaborating with agents, carriers, and freight forwarders to minimize delays.
Responsible for requesting time extensions for the "PROSEC" system to reduce import taxes.
Conduct physical audits of products to be imported and exported, such as machinery, equipment, etc.
Prepare import invoices for temporary and permanent materials, machinery, and tools.
Prepare export invoices for temporary and permanent finished products, scrap, machinery, etc.
