Morning shift to overlap with APAC – 7.30 am to 4:00 pm IST Standard normal shift to overlap with IMEA, other countries in APAC & partial Europe – 9:30 am -6.00 pm IST Evening shift to overlap with Europe & (until 11am/12pm EST) Americas – 1.00 pm to 9:30 pm IST

(Normal work hours recommended is 9.30am to 6pm IST)

Workdays : Minimum 4 days in office to be agreed with Direct Manager / Sat & Sun are weekly off’s

 

 

Summary of the Role:

 

The IMEA Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for supporting and implementing marketing communication strategies and programs to bolster Lubrizol’s overall brand awareness and business opportunity within the IMEA (India, Middle East, and Africa) region. Lubrizol is investing in IMEA as a growth region, most notably in India, where the company has announced its largest investment in the country in its 50+ years in the region.

This role will partner with select IMEA leadership team, under the direction of the One Lubrizol IMEA Marcomm leader, on strategic One Lubrizol internal and external communications and elevate the Lubrizol brand in-region.

 

The Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, in-region leaders, and external agencies to execute integrated Marcomm campaigns across various channels.

 

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

 

Execute One Lubrizol marketing communication strategies and plans for the IMEA region, aligned with the overall regional business and global marcomm objectives.

Bolster Lubrizol’s awareness in market, in alignment with One Lubrizol brand projects and guidelines. Collaborate with the global marketing team to localize and adapt global marketing campaigns for the IMEA market, ensuring cultural relevance and effectiveness.

Support messaging  in alignment with business and reputation goals, including business-focused key messages, advocacy engagement and building leadership / thought leadership profile externally.

Support IMEA internal communications, including written leadership updates, regional Townhalls, IMEA employee engagement forums and other tactics.

Create and distribute compelling marketing content, including digital content, presentations, case studies, whitepapers and other collateral to support brand awareness, commercial demand and talent recruitment.

Coordinate and support marketing events in the IMEA region, including Lubrizol-owned events and industry conferences.

Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, website optimization, and SEO/SEM strategies.

Monitor and analyze marketing communication performance metrics and leverage insights to optimize future campaigns.

Track media to facilitate industry intelligence and stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.

 

 

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

 

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing communications, ideally in the industrial, chemical or manufacturing sector, in the IMEA region.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing communication strategies and campaigns.

Strong creative and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for different target audiences.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and web analytics.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal, influence and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Knowledge of IMEA market dynamics, cultural nuances, and industry trends.
