Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a meticulous and experienced Multimedia Specialist to join our Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-quality digitization, restoration, and remediation of legacy image assets, ensuring the preservation and migration of high-value physical media into modern digital formats.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Execute End-to-End Asset Migration: Lead the digitization and reformatting of diverse visual media (including glass plates, negatives, and transparencies) using flatbed and overhead scanners, ensuring 100% accuracy in image quality and metadata capture.

Manage Technical Workflows: Maintain detailed project logs, asset tracking, and chain-of-custody reports while troubleshooting and calibrating studio equipment to ensure continuous production.

Collaborate for Delivery: Partner closely with Client Services Representatives, Studio Managers, and customers to exchange technical information and ensure the successful final delivery of contracted digital services.

Ensure Archival Excellence: Comply with all organizational standards and ethical codes of conduct, performing rigorous quality control to identify deterioration and recommend safe remediation strategies for delicate historical assets.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

4+ years of experience in digital imaging, photography, or archival media migration.

Strong knowledge of historic analog and digital visual media formats, along with expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and FileMaker.

Proven ability in technical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail for quality control, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

High School Diploma required (Degree in Photography, Digital Media, or Library Science preferred).
