Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.

Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.

Responsible for upholding Dignity Health's visions, values and guiding principles. Responsible for maintaining positive morale levels in areas supervised. Communicates in a positive and effective manner with customers and staff.Responsible for the routine daily operation of the General Radiology area assigned to.Responsible in assisting in the employee schedule, daily work assignments, and productivity standards. This also includes assisting and participating in the call and standby schedule when applicable.Responsible for assisting departmental orientation in General Radiology.Active participation in daily departmental Quality Control and Process Improvement program.Responsible for daily evaluation of equipment and reporting of repair and maintenance.
Job Requirements

Required

High School Graduate or GED Must have minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital and radiology department.,Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training or Associate Of Arts Radiological Technology or Bachelors Of Science Radiological TechnologyMedical Radiographer: CA, Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CARegistered Technologist Radiography ARRTAHA Basic Life Support - CPRFire Safety, within 90 Days
