POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervising and scheduling of the Radiology Department support and technical staff. Must have a well-grounded working knowledge of computers, with emphasis on Power Point, Word Perfect, Excel and Radiology scheduling. Review departmental office procedures and implement changes as necessary to maintain optimum efficiency. Substitute for office staff members when they are absent. Ensures that diagnostic imaging procedures are completed in accordance with Tenet/DHM policies. Responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and ensuring appropriate staff competence and staffing levels. Additional duties include participating in the development of budgets and strategic planning for the Imaging Department. The supervisor will assume an active role developing and maintaining strong relationships between Doctors Hospital Manteca/Manteca Imaging Center and the physician community, striving to consistently meet the needs of the medical community and patients. Performs other duties as necessary.
The PACS Administrator maintains the PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) along with other related computer systems to maintain and archive all imaging studies in addition to monitoring patient demographics and pertinent documents. Performs monitoring and testing related to management and quality assurance of PACS and related information programs. This person will work closely with Radiologists and Referring Physicians on use of the PACS system.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
B.A/B.S. preferred
A.S. or equivalent
TRAINING: Radiologic Technologist, PACS System, Microsoft Office Proficiency
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Current BSL Certification is required. Venipuncture Certification is required
EXPERIENCE: 1 – 2 years of imaging technologist experience required and one year supervisory experience preferred.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
