**Elevate Your Career with Iron Mountain**
The Imaging Operations Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control functions within document imaging operations. This role ensures compliance with corporate standards, customer requirements, and contractual service-level agreements (SLAs). The Quality Manager partners closely with operations leadership, IT, and client stakeholders to monitor, evaluate, and improve imaging workflows, ensuring accuracy, image clarity, process integrity, and data security across all phases of document receipt, preparation, scanning, and indexing.
This position also plays a critical role in staff coaching, root cause analysis, corrective action development, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The role includes hands-on leadership for daily quality checks, internal audits, capacity planning, and supporting new client implementations or workflow modifications.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and manage all quality control functions related to imaging operations, including document preparation, scanning, indexing, and final output validation
+ Conduct daily inspections using ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 or customer-specific standards to verify process integrity and image/data quality
+ Develop and enforce quality assurance procedures, audit checklists, and escalation paths for non-conformance
+ Partner with operations managers to track KPIs and error trends; provide data-driven recommendations to improve throughput and reduce defects
+ Perform root cause analysis on identified errors or system issues; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
+ Serve as onsite point-of-contact for quality during new client onboarding, workflow transitions, or technical troubleshooting
+ Provide training and coaching to staff on quality best practices, imaging guidelines, and system utilization
+ Ensure adherence to Iron Mountain’s data security, privacy, and disaster recovery (DR) requirements within imaging workflows
+ Oversee chain-of-custody documentation and ensure compliance with federal or industry-specific standards (e.g., IRS, HIPAA, NARA, etc.)
+ Assist with capacity planning including scanner optimization, throughput monitoring, disk space usage, and inventory of imaging-related supplies
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident resolution, workflow enhancements, and performance reporting
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in imaging operations, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or quality management role
+ Strong working knowledge of imaging software and platforms
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment; understanding of networking and system backup concepts preferred
+ Experience with ANSI/ASQC inspection methods and formal quality assurance frameworks
+ Familiarity with secure document handling, privacy regulations, and chain-of-custody procedures
+ Excellent problem-solving, coaching, and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
+ Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail with analytical and process-driven thinking
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
+ Experience in federal or highly regulated document handling environments
+ Comfortable with data reporting, dashboards, and workflow performance metrics
**Work Environment**
This role may require onsite presence at imaging centers or client sites and may involve standing, walking, or lifting boxes of documents during audits or escalations. Occasional weekend or off-shift support may be required during peak volume periods or cutovers.
