LabCorp is seeking an Imaging Clerk to join our team in Sunrise, FL.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5pm - 1:30am with rotating Saturdays and overtime as business needs require
Job Responsibilities:
Scan, index, and upload medical records and documents into the electronic imaging systemEnsure accuracy and proper categorization of all scanned filesReview documents for completeness, clarity, and quality before imagingRetrieve and distribute electronic records as requested by authorized personnelMaintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulationsPerform data entry and maintain logs for tracking documentsAssist with quality control audits to ensure imaging system integrityHandle incoming and outgoing records, including preparation for scanningTroubleshoot basic scanner or system issues and escalate when neededMaintain organized physical and electronic filing systemsMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
1 year or more experience in a medical administrative or medical Imaging settingKnowledge of medical terminology Occasional lifting of files or boxes (up to 20–30 lbs)Additional Job Standards:
Detail-oriented and accurateTime management and multitasking skillsProblem-solving abilitiesDependability and accountabilitySitting or standing for extended periods of timeThe Imaging Clerk is responsible for digitizing, organizing, and maintaining patient records and other documents within an imaging or electronic document management system. This role ensures accurate documentation, confidentiality, and efficient retrieval of records to support healthcare operations.
