The Opportunity: We are seeking an ILS Fleet Manager to apply their Life Support and Sustainment Management expertise supporting a major defence capability. This role serves as a pivotal technical authority within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the efficient provisioning, maintenance, and repair activities aligned with operational and contractual requirements. The role anticipates and addresses complex logistical and engineering challenges, leveraging domain expertise to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment. Through mentorship, innovative problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement, the role supports organisational resilience, compliance, and the successful execution of high-impact projects within defined business parameters. Responsibilities: + Undertaking logistic support to establish future documentation and plans to support the capability. + Establishing a reporting environment to monitor and report on ILS program achievement for the capability utilising existing stakeholder reporting modes. + Preparation of reports on performance of the ILS program for management consideration and task performance. + Comply with a safe working environment. + Display commitment to understanding the expectations of internal and external clients. + Use computers, software packages and office equipment efficiently and effectively to meet routine needs. + Maintain and record personal timesheets. + Show a good understanding of grammar and editing requirements + Participate in the annual performance reporting process. As the ideal candidate you will bring: + Minimum of 5 years' experience in an integrated logistic support fleet management discipline (Highly Desirable). + Demonstrated Experience with Defence Inventory Management Systems - MILIS (Mandatory) + Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry (Desirable). + Demonstrated understanding of Defence Technical Regulatory Framework requirements (Desirable) + Defence Security Clearance - (Mandatory) All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
