IFRS Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Performs monthly account reconciliations and contributes to the preparation of the trial balance, ensuring preventive financial control and compliance with legal requirements for all recorded transactions. Processes and analyzes accounting data in accordance with IFRS standards. Reviews and validates the monthly provisions calculation. Actively participates in the preparation of the transfer pricing file. Prepares and submits monthly statutory declarations: Intrastat, Environmental Fund (AFM), National Bank of Romania (BNR), and other statistical reports. Drafts financial reports and accounting statements as required. Conducts fiscal analysis of transactions with non-resident suppliers (including withholding tax implications) and ensures compliance with both local tax regulations and IFRS standards in profit tax computation. Contributes to year-end closing activities and supports external financial audit processes. Stays up to date with changes in accounting and tax legislation.

Candidate Profile:

University degree in Economics, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience. Certified Public Accountant – CECCAR member (experience in a listed company is a strong advantage). In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and tax legislation, with a strong command of IFRS principles. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills. Advanced level of English – both written and spoken. Strong analytical mindset, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication and structured thinking, with a results-oriented approach.
