How you will make an impact?

As a FP&A leader of a $1.4B division will have direct exposure to the Instrument & Enterprise Services (IES) senior leadership team and business units. This role is responsible to provide strong business partnership across the organization and lead finance team as chief of staff. The Finance Director plays an important part in aligning the team goals with division leadership expectations.  This role will ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and timely and accurate financial reporting, consistent with USGAAP and local reporting requirements. In addition, the position holder will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities and develop a strong finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes to include month-end close, reporting, planning/forecasting and analytics activitiesIdentify, monitor, and articulate key operating metrics, and synthesize messagingDevelop and lead analytical methods for exploratory and explanatory business insightsAccelerate decision making via development and utilizing of visualization toolsRecommend financial strategies / perform market impact analysis, articulate and demonstrate knowledge of key profit drivers for the business, understand drivers and market forcesBusiness partner to VP HR, VP Customer Care/PPI, Sr. Director IT and to Services Connected program DirectorDirect a team of 3 individualsLiaise with Group FP&A and Systems teams to drive reporting accuracy, and process efficiencyDrive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

A degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably an MBA, CPA or CMA certification.Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to step back, analyze the overall business impact and synthesize the messaging.Experience leading diverse global financial consolidations in an accurate and timely manner for large global company and highly matrixed environment. Ability to handle ambiguity is a must.Leader with a consistent track record to adapt leadership style to different situations and people.Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamicsMust have an outstanding attention to detail and strong process orientation.Self-motivated; bias for action10% travel requirement
