The  **Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer**  is responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting the organization’s identity and access management framework. This role ensures secure and efficient access to systems and applications by managing identity lifecycle processes, authentication methods, and access governance controls. The IAM Engineer helps maintain a strong security posture by driving IAM strategy and integration initiatives, supporting compliance with internal policies and industry standards, and collaborating with global teams to strengthen enterprise-wide identity and access security.
  
  
**As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, You Will:**
  
  
+ Support IAM activities, including all aspects of the Identity and Access Management program and related initiatives.
  
+ Provide deep technical expertise for projects involving IAM technologies and integrations.
  
+ Help solve complex technical issues and support IAM transformation efforts.
  
+ Develop and support IAM strategies, mature program capabilities, assist with governance and compliance activities, and ensure services meet business needs.
  
+ Act as a technical consultant and collaborate with relevant business and IT stakeholders.
  
+ Research and stay current with IAM technologies, standards, and frameworks — including Access Governance, SSO, MFA, and Adaptive/Contextual Authentication.

You build strong relationships to exchange ideas, resources, and expertise.
  
  
**Required Education, Experience & Skills:**
  
  
+  **Proven, hands-on experience implementing and managing enterprise IAM technologies**  including  **Active Directory** ,  **Azure AD / Entra ID** ,  **SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ** ,  **Single Sign-On (SSO)** ,  **Identity Lifecycle Management** ,  **Privileged Access Management (PAM)** , and  **Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)**  — with the ability to design, integrate, and optimize these solutions across hybrid (cloud/on-premises) environments.
  
+ Strong understanding of existing and emerging industry protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, FIDO).
  
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
+ Functional proficiency with at least one coding or scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
+ Experience evaluating and selecting technology solutions to meet business and security objectives.
  
  
**Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:**
  
  
+ Azure or other industry certifications preferred. (e.g., SailPoint IdentityNow Engineer, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP)
  
+ Solid understanding of commonly used IAM platforms, particularly  **SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ**  and Microsoft identity services.
  
+ Experience deploying large-scale, global identity projects and programs.
  
+ Familiarity with IT Security, Governance, and Risk Management concepts.
  
+ Ability to prioritize and manage complex initiatives effectively.
  
+ Strong problem-solving skills while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity.
  
+ Exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills.
