You Mission

The Identity & Access Management Administration team is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's identity and access management (IAM) systems. This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of user identities, managing access controls, creating access templates, consolidating access control systems, and supporting the implementation of IAM policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

Administer and maintain the organization's identity and access management systems, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and other IAM tools.

Provision, modify, and deprovision user accounts, roles, templates and permissions across various systems and applications.

Monitor and manage access controls to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, including user access problems and system errors.

Conduct regular audits of user accounts and access permissions to identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and enforce IAM policies and procedures to support the retail and corporate environments across the Ilitch Companies.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding IAM-related inquiries and issues.

Onboards applications for Single-Sign-On (SSO) on various systems and SaaS platforms.

Implement automation for routine tasks and self-service to trusted entities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in identity and access management.

Develops consistent documentation for engineering and knowledgebase articles for support teams.

Troubleshoots hybrid cloud hosting and application technologies.

Develops routine reporting of system statistics, status, and health.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar area. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Minimum of two (2) years of systems administration experience. Two (2) years of experience with IAM platforms.

Strong understanding of IAM principles, protocols, and technologies.

Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and privileged access management (PAM) solutions.

Knowledge of Networking fundamentals.

Scripting and Automation experience

Willingness to document technical processes and share knowledge with others. Capable of following and composing process and procedure documentation, as well as training other users on complex topics.

Ability to interact with colleagues from all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical, and communicate technical ideas effectively.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.

Someone willing to take ownership of problems and drive them to completion.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Linux systems administration experience.

Ability to learn new technologies or support existing applications quickly and with minimal guidance.

Thrives on technical challenges and takes pride in solving them.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and doing things differently.

Relevant certification in the IAM area of expertise.

Ability to interact with vendor API’s for automation.

Where You'll Work

This is a full-time position that provides support, on a 24 x 7 schedule, for all operational and outage issues relating to the infrastructure supporting stores.

Ability to participate in an on-call rotation performing weekend and after-hours support as needed.

This position is a hybrid role that can be done working from home or in the office, based on Manager’s discretion. Occasional trips to the office for team events, vendor meetings, or as other needs arise will be necessary.
