The Regional Command Center is looking to hire a part-time ID Badging Access Officer at our Regional Medical Center in Boise!
Position Highlights and Summary:The Badging System Access Officer will collaborate with different departments to meet facility access requirements based on individual employment status and work location.
You will greet all individuals with excellent customer service that provides a warm welcome to Saint Alphonsus.
What You Will Do:Meet the Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations.
Take photos, print badges, answer the door during open business hours, and adhere to secure procedures for issuing and documenting badges,
Publish and maintain daily appointment schedules, confirm vendor/contractor paperwork is present and compliant, and manage badge supply inventory.
Handle initial contact and delegate all email and phone communication.
Assist with continuous colleague training and maintaining accurate audit records.
Provide technical troubleshooting advice to facility personnel.
Confirm all new, transferred, terminated, and expired ID badge profiles before printing or terminating.
Maintain ID Badge appointment calendars for respective site.
Manage badging equipment and supply inventory for respective site.
Proactively take on duties to assist other departments as defined by the director or manager.
An ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate leadership and independent problem-solving skills;
Have exceptional attention to detail, decision-making abilities, and the ability to use critical thinking.
Be able to remain calm and poised with multiple interruptions and demands.
Be familiar with Saint Alphonsus Health System locations.
Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Work Schedule:20 hours/week, Tuesdays - Fridays, 11:00am - 4:00pm, with some flexibility for coverage.
Training:On the job training provided
Training program is 2 months at the part-time work schedule.
Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Relevant experience is preferred.
Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
Requires intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office applications.
