Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care PRN

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a PRN Advanced Practice Provider to join the Critical Care team. In this position, your primary responsibility is managing a caseload of critically ill patients in an intensive care setting under the direct supervision of the ICU supervising physician.

In this role you will:

Utilize specialized skill and knowledge performing physical examsCollect and properly document data utilizing EMR systemConduct necessary procedures, including: central lines, arterial lines, vascaths, chest tubes, and intubationsOrder and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultationsPrescribe appropriate interventions and medicationsProvide direct patient care services in a specific ICU or step-down unitQualifications:

Graduate and licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners or the American Academy of Physician's Assistants with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board

Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing
