ICSS LEAD

We are working with our client based in Qatar to source an ICSS LEAD. This is residential contract to be based in Qatar.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Experience: 8 years of relevant experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.  Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams in offshore environments.  Excellent report writing and presentation skills. A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English. Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications. Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrument, telecom, piping and electrical.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the Contractor’s ICSS engineering for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) comply with the Contract requirements including project codes and standards.
2. Review and approve Contractor/Vendor ICSS engineering deliverables for Topsides and Onshore facilities (Offshore scope).
3. Plan and schedule the ICSS engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Qatar Energy LNG operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
4. Participate in key design workshop and ensure that workshop recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Cyber security workshop, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
5. Ensure the seamless integration of various thirdparty packages into the ICSS. 6. Develop and review control and safety systems, cause and effects, shutdown hierarchy requirements, system control narratives.
7. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts across relevant disciplines involved in the delivery of the ICSS systems related to Topsides and ensures endorsement of technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
8. Supervise the Engineering interface for control & safety systems between Topsides , Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) and Onshore Project team. Monitor and co-ordinate timely closing of all interface aspects, related to integration of ICSS with other projects.
9. Attend FATs/SAT for ICSS and support field commissioning activities/site queries.
10. Co-ordination / development of procedures for smooth handover of ICSS package to operations.
