ICAM Developer Integrator (REMOTE)

Koniag Data Solutions is seeking a Senior ICAM Integration & Development Specialist – Identity, Credential, and Access Management SME to lead and execute complex ICAM migration initiatives for our clients. This role is critical for organizations transitioning between identity management systems or modernizing their existing ICAM infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in identity management with proven experience in planning and implementing large-scale ICAM migration projects. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the challenges of legacy system integration while ensuring continuous security and operational functionality throughout the migration process. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** The Senior ICAM Migration SME will develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies for transitioning clients from legacy identity management systems to modern ICAM solutions. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: + Lead assessment of existing ICAM infrastructure, system capabilities and develop detailed migration roadmaps and strategies for rapid migration through automation. + Design and implement migration plans that minimize disruption to business operations while enhancing security posture + Develop comprehensive data migration approaches for identity repositories, ensuring data integrity and security + Create and implement transition plans for authentication mechanisms, credential management, and access control systems + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies between ICAM systems and integrated applications + Develop testing strategies to validate the functionality and security of migrated ICAM components + Establish rollback procedures and contingency plans for migration activities + Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for system administrators and end users + Monitor migration progress, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust implementation plans as needed + Provide subject matter expertise on best practices for ICAM migrations in government and enterprise environments + Document migration architectures, procedures, and lessons learned for future reference + Support post-migration activities including optimization, tuning, and stabilization of new ICAM solutions **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related technical field required; master's degree preferred + 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 7 years specialized experience in ICAM solutions + 5+ years of direct experience planning and executing large-scale ICAM migration projects + Demonstrated experience migrating between different identity management platforms and technologies + Experience with federal government ICAM requirements and frameworks **Security Clearance Requirement:** + Active Secret security clearance **Required Skills and Competencies:** + Experience with Okta IdP and SailPoint IIQ. + Deep understanding of identity management lifecycle processes and technologies + Expert knowledge of directory services migration (Active Directory, LDAP) techniques and tools + Experience with transitioning legacy applications to modern authentication methods + Familiarity with DevSecOps practices for ICAM deployments + Experience with automated migration tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) + Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture implementation during migration initiatives + Experience with federation protocols and migrating federated identity environments + Proficiency in credential management system transitions and PKI implementations + Experience migrating role-based and attribute-based access control models (RBAC/ABAC) + Knowledge of data transformation and cleansing techniques for identity repositories + Experience with identity synchronization tools and methodologies + Strong project management skills with ability to develop and track complex migration schedules + Understanding of risk management practices applied to ICAM migrations + Experience with authentication protocol migrations (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) + Knowledge of automated provisioning systems and migration approaches + Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) transition strategies + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address migration challenges + Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts + Ability to develop and implement test plans for migrated ICAM components + Ability to apply Scrum / Kanban hybrid methodologies to manage the stages of application migration lifecycle. + The candidate must possess demonstrated expertise in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) aligned with DoD policy, and hold a current DoD 8570-compliant IAM-level certification such as Security+ CE, CAP, CISSP, or equivalent. **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
