Job Location BOX ELDER PLANT Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intelligent Controls and Automation Engineer (ICA) to join our Box Elder team. This individual would be hired as a member of a high-performance technical team. An ICA Engineer is responsible for maintaining production throughput, reducing equipment downtime, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery. They focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, of the highest quality, and in a safe environment. ICA Engineers are expected to have electrical technical mastery to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems. As an ICA Engineer, you will: + Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packing, making and facilities equipment. + Troubleshoot, monitor, and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. + Work closely with the Operations and Engineering organization to maintain and develop the technology capability masterplan to improve quality and productivity. + Drive Logic improvement and integration of current and future equipment. + Eliminate losses using root cause analysis and loss elimination tools. Job Qualifications + Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education + Proven experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors- Robotics, Machine Vision and Networking skills are a plus. + Programming knowledge and experience desired, i.e., Python, LabVIEW, JAVA, C#, etc. + Strong leadership, business problem definition and priority setting skills. + A desire to learn, collaborate, and build a high performing work organization.
