Key Accountabilities

Central Europe IBP and Demand Planning Leader role is a leadership position accountable for Europe IBP, S&OE, and Demand Planning. This person leads and enables IBPs and Demand Planning Teams, accelerating maturity in Europe IBP program, maintain strong integrated business planning process with Central Europe Execs and multi-function team through strong collaboration and robust S&OP/S&OE. This role will also lead and coach Demand Planners towards a highly accurate demand forecasting, focusing on both reliable statistical forecast and building block quality through APO/OMP. We expect this person has strong interest in understanding the business and end-to-end operational and financial implications of demand plans.
Demand Forecasting Excellence: Implement and sustain Diageo's global demand management agenda, with a strong understanding of demand forecasting operational processes. This includes statistical forecasting, incremental volumes building blocks analysis and calculations, consumption analysis, price elasticity analysis, share trend analysis, in-store activity / promotions volume calculations, active coverage analysis, innovation pipeline volume calculations, deviation analysis, PDCA on Forecast Accuracy KPIs and demand forecasting segmentation management. Head the Demand Forecasting team that oversee both short-term and long-term market demand forecasting processes. Focus on achieving both “Statistical Forecast Accuracy” and “Forecast Value-Add (Building Blocks Quality)” to achieve best in class Forecast Accuracy.Work collaboratively with the Market organizations and ensure forecast accuracy and bias aligns with set targets.
Business Planning Integration: Embed the cross-functional business planning process end-to-end, ensuring that Diageo’s commercial and operational strategies are seamlessly integrated. This includes leading the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes across all markets in scope.
Governance & Standards: Oversee the monthly governance process to monitor progress and take corrective actions when required. Ensure that systems and processes are in line with global demand planning standards.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and coach team of Demand Planners. Leadership responsibilities include seamless collaboration with Joint Venture teams. Spearhead a high-performance Demand Planning team, focusing on capability building and continuous development. This involves managing the roadmap to achieve maturity objectives and leading improvement initiatives. Inspire a step change in team’s digital skills.
Senior Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture senior leader relationships across the Supply Chain, finance, and commercial sectors. Partner with Europe Finance to extract valuable insights and work closely with global teams to implement codified building blocks.

Develop new innovative forecasting and data processing technologies. Ensure smooth transition advanced planning platforms like OMP and SAP Hana.
Ideal experience, skills & capabilities
Broad and deep supply chain planning, demand forecasting and S&OP/IBP experience in a CPG company
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and executing Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes
Ability to foster effective relationships, especially with senior stakeholders and demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills
Strong analytical mindset and data analytics skills
Familiarity with supply network data platforms, ERP, and master data systems
Strong understanding of supply chain and demand forecasting/IBP operational processes
Leadership, influencing, and partner engagement skills
Proven team management experience
