Lead the demand management agenda for the category, being the key interface between commercial (sales revenue planning) and supply (replenishment) to identify and evaluate the impact of potential availability issues/commercial changes including gap assessment and risk and opportunity discussionsPartner with modelling team for the generation of statistical forecastingManage, coach and develop a teamReview standard consumption versus forecast at the customer and total product levels, liaising with replenishment and sales revenue planning to manage potential availability issues and the impact of under consumptionDrive strong linkages with the commercial, customer collaboration, modelling, order fulfilment teams and supply planning including innovation and equityDrive continuous capability building in the demand planning team for planning improvementWhat you will bring

The IBP Category Lead will lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for their respective business unit and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and execution of an accurate demand forecast. This role drives supply chain efficiencies, improves forecast accuracy, and identifies risks and opportunities to optimize business performance. A key part of the role involves collaborating with and influencing stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Lead, manage, coach, and develop a forecasting team, driving continuous capability building for planning improvement.Oversee the development of an unbiased, unconstrained 24-month forecast with properly documented assumptions.Partner with Category Finance to ensure appropriate linkage between IBP and financial forecasts, including key assumptions, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate with the Modelling Team to generate statistical forecasts.Work with Commercial Leadership to quantify and validate risks and opportunities, supporting plans to close gaps between forecast and targets.Partner with Innovation and Equity teams to validate the sizing of new products (innovations, renovations) and campaigns within the 24-month forecast.Collaborate with Supply Planning to ensure confidence in the demand plan, facilitating timely, appropriate forecast decisions for successful execution and delivery.Identify, communicate, and monitor risks and opportunities to the demand plan (e.g., abnormal demand, demand shaping, changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and strategies), supporting risk assessments and mitigation.Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams on product lifecycle analysis, managing introductions and exits to optimize service and waste KPIs.Drive and enhance demand planning processes, leveraging available technologies and proposing improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.Own and facilitate the Monthly Demand Planning process within the IBP/S&OP cycle, presenting changes and recommendations during monthly reviews.Participate in IBP meeting cycles, including supply meetings and volume reviews, to address demand changes.Lead demand plan updates, ensuring aligned information is accurately captured in systems and communicated to Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other key stakeholders.Support the generation of the demand plan for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process in collaboration with Sales, Business, and Finance teams.Lead cross-functional forecast-related projects, collaborating with Supply Planners to resolve capacity, inventory, and supply gaps, including critical allocation recommendations and their tie to CFR recovery projections.What You’ll Bring

Post-secondary education with an APICS/ ASCM and/or IBF certification (University degree or professional designation required).Job specific requirements:
10-12 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting within the CPG or similar industry.4+ years of team management experience.Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial, or logistics experience with strong business acumen.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and provide actionable insights.Advanced proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel for pivot tables, modeling) and experience with ERP and APS (SAP APO and/or o9) systems.Experience with PowerBI, MRP, and supply chain management systems is an asset.Travel requirements:

Regular business hours M-F (Hybrid)The expected base salary range for this position is CAD 102,600 to CAD 128,250 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 14% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
