You will play an instrumental role in helping shape and optimize a new IBM Z Performance Benchmark Center for client engagements based in Sofia.In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the Technical Project Lead and Performance Specialist to design, configure, and automate the deployment of software and infrastructure components of the performance testing solutionsIn addition, your responsibilities include to: identify, plan, deploy, and test the infrastructure components of the client benchmarking solutions. **Required technical and professional expertise** Technical skills and product experience: * z/OS systems administration or Linux on Z administration * Db2 and other traditional z/OS products or Db2 LUW and other middleware products on Linux on Z General skills: * Quick learner who continuously acquires new expertise possess problem-solving skills * Fluent English and good communication skills * The ability to work productively across the infrastructure (operations), development, and product teams * Agile development methodology and tool **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Infrastructure architecture and design skills * Familiar with both z/OS and Linux on Z * Experience with z/VM and KVM on Z * Red Hat OpenShift administration IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
