If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM MQ Specialist with strong proficiency in installing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining IBM MQ on Linux and Windows platforms at the SME level. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IBM MQ configurations, including queues, listener ports, channels, and more. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong proficiency in IBM MQ - Install, Configure, Integrate and Maintain IBM MQ on Linux and Windows platforms at the SME level * Apply FixPacks to upgrade MQ Versions either manually or through automated scripts. * Experience in MQ configurations such as queues, listener ports, channels, etc. * Experience in building environments from scratch and performing production support. * Experience in Pub/Sub Messaging. * Experience in MQ Upgrades. * Experience in MQ Backup & Recovery procedures of the MQ objects/messages. * Problem determination using Queue Manager Error logs, clearing Queues using MQ Commands. * Check and configure MQ Authorities. * Configure SSL security for IBM MQ. * Experience in MQ Deployment automation using Puppet and Ansible * Good knowledge on SQL statements and Database concepts. * Experience in Linux operating systems and shell scripting languages (e.g., Bash). **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Application Server and programming languages like PERL, Python * Nice to have knowledge on SWIFT MT and ISO messaging protocols. * Strong analytical and Communication skills IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
