Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost in Inbound logistics efficiently.

What is required

Setting and maintaining exceptionally high Quality and Safety standards in the Inbound areaEnsuring all shipments are received and booked in as plannedPicking all schedules for production areas dailyReceiving and accurately resourcing tanker deliveriesSafely using and maintaining all forklifts and raising maintenance ticketsRecording and sharing department metricsContinuously improving first-time accuracy and reviewing processes to avoid repeated errorsCooperating with other departments and being the first point of contact for Inbound logistics questionsParticipating in agreed meetings, activities, and tasksCarrying out all work safely and efficiently according to legislation and company proceduresMaintaining departmental 5S levels to required standardsIdentifying and implementing new processes as neededMeeting site targets for stock accuracy with raw materials and packagingCompleting safety audits and actions to company standards within required timelinesReporting incidents, accidents, or near misses timely, and conducting root cause analysis to establish corrective actionsDeveloping and implementing training plans to ensure staff competence and flexibilityEmphasizing quality improvements across all departmentsEmbracing and participating in Practical Process Improvements (PPI) initiatives for waste reduction and cost savings

Experience/Skills and Abilities

Self-motivated with the ability to achieve and encourage others to achieveExperience with Cycle count Administration processesDriven to complete projects and tasks within set timelinesClear communication skills at all levels, both written and verbalPositive attitude and demeanorAbility to work effectively within a team and with colleagues from other business areasProblem-solving skills, including asking necessary questions and compiling answersProfessional approach when dealing with staff, customers, and key collaboratorsConfident use of computers, especially Microsoft Excel
