Insight Global is looking for a tenured IAM Engineer to join one of our retail clients in the SF Bay Area. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer II is responsible for envisioning, implementing, and enhancing IAM solutions and integrations. This role leads IAM initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring solutions align with business needs and compliance requirements. The IAM Engineer II acts as a subject matter expert, collaborating with IT, security, and business stakeholders, and provides advanced support for IAM services and incidents.

Skills and Requirements
• At least 8 years of experience supporting IT systems, processes, or capabilities.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in Identity and Access Management.
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, concepts, and technologies.
• Familiarity with IAM protocols such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Hands-on experience with at least two IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, Saviynt, CyberArk, Netskope).
• In-depth knowledge of general cloud security.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Knowledge of O365 services.
• Knowledge of Oracle IAM products (OAM, OIM, OUD, OAAM) for legacy services.
• Conceptual and practical understanding of IT infrastructure designs, technologies, and services.
• Ability to work independently and creatively solve complex technical problems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • Senior-level certification or equivalent with demonstrated relevant experience (ie. CISSP, CCSP, CyberArk Certified Sentry, Okta Certified Professional, etc.)
• Knowledge of security and privacy regulations and compliance standards.
