Compensation: $65.00/hour DOELocation: Midland, TXWork Schedule: 5/2, 40 hours/week with potential for weekly on-call rotationAssignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401K, PTO and Holidays Journeyman's License is requiredCompany truck provided Responsibilities Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock out Tag out: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)) for lighting, air condition and motor maintenancePlan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize impact on production, and maximize operational availabilityTypically reports to a supervisorWork with vendors and sub-contractors as requiredComply with requirements of MOC for Plant ModificationsApply skills and knowledge in a practical and efficient manner and continually look for opportunities for improvement, cost saving and simplificationComply with and promote high SSHE standards and demonstrate responsibility for the safety of self and others minimizing impact on production, and maximizing operational availabilityEmploy Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe actsActively participate in a responsible waste management systemAttend and participate in the Operations morning shift meetingQualifications Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas IndustryJourneyman's license requiredDiscipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experienceEffective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation stepsTeam Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist othersAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programsValid driver's license and clean driving recordHigh School diploma or GED required
