Responsible for assistance with programming, testing and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation including; distributed control systems (DCS), electronic and pneumatic instruments, PLC controllers, fire alarm system, personal security access system, camera system and all other instrumentation. Principal Accountabilities:

Assists in the installation and maintenance of instrumentation and the plant's distributive controlAccurately troubleshoots and diagnoses standard issues with process controlImplements control system improvements that ensure manufacturing, construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, regulatory safety standards and user requirements.Provides automation system design knowledge input including power distribution, equipment specification, and instrumentationReviews control system spare parts inventory as required to cost effectively minimize equipment down-time and assure high plant availability.Performs calibrations and monitoring required to minimize equipment downtimePerforms preventive maintenance on plant instrumentationDevelops and maintains Preventive and predictive maintenace programs electrical and control systems equipmentPerforms low voltage analog and digital drawing updatesBeing part of the emergency reponse teamUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Other duties as assignedQualifications

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

Instrument/Electronic Tech School with Maintenance Electrical LicenseExperience programming and troubleshooting Rockwell ControlLogix DCS and Plant PAx HMI softwareExperience with Allen Bradley controls and programs, AC and DC drives and other industrial control components and devices3-5 years of experience in electrical and controls in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of instrumentation, communications, electrical based signals/power, and electrical safetyProficient technical skills including ability to utilize electrical meters, calibration devices and other electrical monitoring and troubleshooting tools; ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and drawingsFamiliar with flow meters, RTD's, pressure, Ultrasonic and radar level instruments
