Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a I&E Designer III to work on an initially 1-year assignment in Ponca City, Oklahoma   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and modify electrical and instrumentation (E&I) drawings for Refinery Technical Services (RTS) projects. Lead a team of designers and drafters, organizing and delegating tasks to efficiently complete projects. Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with engineers, mechanical craftsmen, and contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS 15+ years of CAD experience, with expertise in electrical or instrumentation design. Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a project design team. Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology (preferred). Experience with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) is a plus.
