I-9 Compliance & Data Migration Consultant (Remote)
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient I-9 Compliance & Data Migration Consultant to lead the transition of I-9 records and audit trails from a current system to a new internal platform. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with federal regulations while maintaining data integrity, security, and usability throughout the migration and implementation process. Responsibilities will include: • Strategy and oversight of migrating all I-9 documents and attachments to the internal housing platform. • Preservation of data such as creation dates, verification status, and chain of custody • Validating document integrity and ensure seamless ingestion into the new system. • Transfer of historical audit logs (PDF format) and ensure continuity in the new system. • Confirm compatibility of audit trail formats with the new platform. Skills and Requirements I-9 data migration project experience Deep knowledge of I-9 compliance, HR systems integration, or data migration projects. Familiarity with DHS/ICE regulations and E-Verify processes. Strong understanding of audit trail management and metadata preservation. Experience with secure document systems and role-based access control. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
