Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors and coworkers. Inspect and repair all cleaning equipment, excluding 8K, 10K, and 20K pump internals. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills. Safely handle 55-gallon oil drums. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by posted signs, written instructions, and supervisor directives. Perform equipment hookup and breakdown using proper tools and procedures. Communicate effectively in English with supervisors and coworkers regarding safety, job conduct, and product quality control. Operate power tools when authorized and qualified, in accordance with company rules and work orders. Clean work area and equipment after tasks are completed. Comply with all applicable company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Be available to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as necessary.Marginal Job Functions
Use brooms and other cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Perform duties with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, standing for up to two hours, and sitting for the remainder of the time. Perform other tasks as assigned by the company.Equipment and Clothing Used to Perform Job:
Protective Equipment: Gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, and respiratory protection as required. Tools: Assorted long and short-handled tools, tool cart, and full set of mechanic tools.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of related maintenance experience in a fabrication or industrial environment. Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance in an industrial setting. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to accurately read and interpret measuring devices.Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, squat, crawl, lift, and reach overhead. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in both high and confined spaces. Good manual dexterity for using hand tools.Working Conditions:
Ability to work in environments that may be hot, noisy, dusty, dirty, or cold. Potential exposure to chemicals and pinching hazards.This is a shop only opportunity. There is no travel and no per diem.
