Job title: Mechanical Design Engineer- Hydraulic Design
Description
•\tProven experience as an individual contributor in a system-level Hydraulics design capacity: Must be able to function independently and collaborate with other designers, engineers, and external customers
•\tExperience in the selection of hydraulic components based on the specifications & system requirements.
•\tDemonstrate proficient knowledge of design procedures such as retrieving and applying information from engineering standards and schematics, purchasing and manufacturing specifications for preparation, release and revision of drawings and Bills of Material.
•\tProficient knowledge of Creo 3D design software
•\tExperience with Data management systems (Preferred TC)
•\tBasic drafting fundamentals: check/fix drawings
•\tExperience with Hydraulics and Routing, sheet metal and mechanical assemblies, weldments.
•\tMS Office experience
•\tGood written and verbal communication
Skills
2+ years of experience in a mechanical design role with experience designing hydraulic routingsExperience with Creo or similar design program 3D modelingexperience creating bills of materialAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Nice to have:
TeamcenterAny previous experience with Cost reduction projectsBasic project management skills – capable of Offshore Coordination.Exercises leadership by sharing technical and practical knowledge with less experienced team members.Exposure to ASME Y-14 drafting standardAny experience with Engineering central, writing Change orders.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
