Job Description A Wireless Technology Solutions client of Insight Global is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join their team. This QA test engineer will be joining a growing QA team transitioning from basic hardware/firmware testing to full integrated systems QA. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across hardware, software, and firmware testing, with mentorship from seasoned professionals. Daily responsibilities include: Test Execution & Documentation - Run manual/automated tests across HW/SW/FW - Log results, defects, and metrics - Help design test cases and strategies Automation & Scripting - Build Python-based test scripts - Support CI/CD pipeline integration - Manage test environments and data Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with engineering, product, and ops teams - Join Agile ceremonies and defect triage - Contribute to integrated testing workflows Learning & Development - Train in system testing and QA methodologies - Learn risk-based and exploratory testing - Stay current with tools and standards Quality Assurance Support - Track defects and quality KPIs - Assist with FMEA and feature testing - Help optimize test coverage We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem solving skills and a team-player mindset. This is a full time position, with a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week on-site in Westminster, CO. This position offers an annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000 annually based with benefits offered by the client. If interested, please apply! Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 0-2 years of QA/testing experience - Proficiency with Python - Basic SDLC and testing knowledge - Familiarity with Git, Jira, Linux/Unix - Basic networking and hardware understanding API and database testing knowledge - Internship/project experience in QA - Exposure to IoT, embedded systems - Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms - Knowledge of security and AI testing
