About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support at our Schenectady, NY site. This temporary role is critical to transitioning vendor payment methods from check to ACH and ensuring compliance with AP and Purchasing procedures. You will work closely with a small, collaborative team during a major SAP S4/HANA implementation and vendor ACH conversion project.
Key Responsibilities:Process and manage payment method changes from check to ACHSupport Accounts Payable and Purchasing teams with:Invoice matchingGRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) reconciliationEnsure AP and Purchasing procedures remain accurate and up to dateAssist with vendor management and invoice processingCollaborate with team members during SAP S4/HANA implementationRequired Skills & Qualifications:2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceStrong knowledge of invoice matching and ACH payment processesFamiliarity with AP/Purchasing workflowsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills:Experience with SAP or other ERP systemsUnderstanding of three-way matchingKnowledge of vendor management and reconciliation processesEmployee Value Proposition:6–12 month contract with potential for extensionHybrid schedule (Tues–Thurs in office)Opportunity to contribute to a major ACH conversion projectExposure to SAP S4/HANA implementationJoin a small, collaborative team (Controller, AP, AR)Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
