This position is for a multi-functional professional in the field of electro-mechanical engineering to support the design, physical fabrication and assembly, process development, and technical evaluation of systems ranging in maturity from conceptual to high TRL products. The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in mechanical and/or electrical design, hands-on integration and evaluation, and a robust methodology for performing organized and traceable iterative design and evaluation cycles. A successful individual possesses the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a small development team to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks that align with project objectives. Project topics include, but are not limited to, unmanned platforms, complex sensing and data collection systems, and embedded computing devices. The candidate shall have the aptitude to manage and track multiple parallel technical activities. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
