Job Description

As a Hardware Series Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful series production of innovative hardware solutions for the automotive industry. Working closely with customers and international, cross-functional teams, you will drive projects from change request to implementation, with a strong focus on quality, cost, and delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

Coordinating closely with plant, customer, and hardware development teamsCollaborating with international, cross-functional stakeholders such as sales, manufacturing, quality, technical purchasing, and controllingAligning and agreeing on change project targets with customer teamsReporting project status, risks, and progress regularly to managementPlanning and steering hardware-related project activities, including cost tracking and task managementDefining, releasing, and implementing hardware changes to support cost optimization and supply chain stabilityApplying project management methods such as quality, change, and risk management to ensure project success

Qualifications

What distinguishes you?

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field

Experience

Proven experience in managing technical or hardware-related projects, ideally in the automotive industry or a similar environment

Know-how

Solid technical understanding and strong motivation to solve complex technical challengesFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies

Languages

Good command of English; additional languages are a plus

Working Style and Methods

Structured, target-oriented, and quality-focused working approachFlexibility and ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities

Personality
