Job Title: HVAC TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians for residential service work. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair residential HVAC systems.Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components.Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups.Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes.Communicate effectively with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed.Essential SkillsHVAC expertise.Proficiency in service, install, diagnose, and repair of HVAC systems.Troubleshooting and repair skills.Mechanical and installation abilities.Sheet metal skills.High school diploma or equivalent.EPA Section 608 Certification (mandatory).Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.Commitment to safety and compliance with local codes.Professional demeanor and reliability.NATE Certification or equivalent (preferred).Experience with smart thermostats and home automation systems.Familiarity with ductless mini-split systems.Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm, with the possibility of working weekends. You will be on an on-call schedule, which is still being finalized. The role involves working in and around residential homes throughout the Chicagoland area and its surrounding suburbs.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
